Our speciality is building handcrafted bespoke campervans which are highly functional ready for off-grid adventures. We have lived and travelled full time in campervans for 5 years so really know what you actually need in a campervan build and can offer lots of advice based on real life experience. We have converted Mercedes Sprinters, VW Crafters, VW Transporters, Peugot Boxers and James has even converted an old 1972 Bay Window camper to electric!
We have a workshop based near at Sandhutton near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

Option 1: Brown Bird Signature Build
We can offer our 2 or 3 berth signature builds with or without showers in your base van with some areas which we can be personalised according to your needs.
Our experience of full time van living has helped us to develop spacious, functional and beautiful campervans. Our 2 or 3 berth campervans are built using high quality functional equipment and materials including Eberspacher diesel heaters, Victron electrical systems, Maxxair fans and Thetford hobs. We build for all season use and our campers are fully off-grid.

Option 2: Bespoke Commission
We love to hear what ideas other people have for their perfect tiny house on wheels. If you want 4 berths, swivel seats, shower in a medium build, or a different layout we can accommodate that too. We will adapt our signature style to your layout whilst retaining our design style. We will initially send out a campervan conversion questionnaire so we can understand your requirements and then we can come up with a bespoke quote for you. We can also offer advice on all aspects of the conversion so you are getting exactly what you need and want.
It’s difficult to give quotes for the bespoke campervan commissions until you have filled this questionnaire out as the price changes dramatically depending on how much kit you want, the layout and the size of the van.
If you are not sure what exactly you are looking for then we encourage you to take the time to look at other campervan builds and maybe hire a campervan to try the layout before you get a commission. Our campervan Chamonix is available to hire which is one of our signature builds. We now offer full conversions on VW T6 campers. Please contact us for more details and available dates. Prices start from £20,000 plus VAT.
